2023 Book Bingo

I first encountered the concept of book bingo through BookRiot circa 2017. They had a page that would assemble a bingo card from randomly selected reading challenges like “read a book written in your birth year” or “read a book written by an author with your initials.” That year, I read enough to black out the whole card and felt pretty awesome about it.

The following year I jumped from the reading wagon to the career-change wagon, and by the time I got back to reading, the book bingo page was gone. Then I found these Read Something Cards* by the makers of Library Comic, and an idea was born: I can use the cards to make my own bingo card!

I’m going to use the prompts to choose the short story collections, anthologies, and theory books I’ll read this year. If you’d like to join me, here is the blank bingo card. (Updated April 4)
